Hey There!

Hey to all who read this blog! My name is Chloe, I am new to blogging but I thought it'd be cool to try it out. I am a freshman in college, and have a burning passion for writing. I love writing free verse poetry. I have been writing poetry ever since freshman year of high school. Each poem that is written has a little bit of my life spilt into it. Each poem I write has a message to it. The message however is different for each person that reads it. Since this is my first blog, I thought it'd be interesting to post one of my poems on here. Journey to a place...
Where everyone's dreams come true
Journey to a place...
Where a boy dreams of becoming a chef
...To the place where a girl dreams of becoming a singer
Journey to the place where these kids dreams were important...
   Welcome to the world...
Where dreams are made & where they are crushed
Welcome to the World..
Where society tells us what to be
...Where people sell themselves & their talent just for a taste of that world
Welcome to the world
..Where one tends to lose sight of them...
Imagine a place where...
One had the guts to pursue anything they wanted.
Imagine a place...
Where positivity was easy.
A place where....
A person could express their talents
...Without being judged

What would you do?
Would you imagine, journey, or welcome these types of worlds?

In a sense... All three are the same.

So go... to the world of imagination, go to the world of journeys, & be welcomed into the world.. of dreams.
